Day 1 - Xi'an / Datong On arrival into Xi'an you will be met by your friendly China Holidays guide who will transfer you to Xi'an railway station for your overnight train to Datong.
Day 2 - Datong You will arrive into Datong early this morning and will be met at the station by your local China Holidays guide who will transfer you to your hotel in Datong. (B/L)
Day 3 - Datong In Datong today you will visit the Yungang Grottoes, one of the three major cave clusters in China that punctuate the north cliff of Wuzhou Mountain and then the Huayan Temple. (B/L)
Day 4 - Datong / Hunyuan / Wutai shan After breakfast at your hotel you will depart to visit the Xuankong Temple located in Hunyuan, then move on to Wutaishan to visit the Overhanging Temple, built in the Northern Wei Dynasty (386 – 534), on a high cliff hemmed in by a precipice on either side. (B/L/D)
Day 5 - Wutai shan / Pingyao Today you will visit Pusa Ding, the Xiantong Temple, the Tayuan Temple and Wanfoge in Wutaishan. Then you will depart to Pingyao where you will stay two nights. (B/L/D)
Day 6 - Pingyao You will spend today visiting the sights and sounds of Pingyao. Your touring will include a visit to the City Wall, Ming-qing Street and the Rishengchang financial old bank. (B/L/D)
Day 7 - Pingyao / Yuci / Taiyuan / Luoyang This morning you depart for Yuci and will visit the Changjia Garden in Yuci. You will then depart to Taiyuan to join your overnight train to Luoyang. (B/L/D)
Day 8 - Luoyang Your train is scheduled to arrive into Luoyang at 1139am where your local China Holidays guide will be waiting to met you and transfer you to your hotel where you will spend two nights. This afternoon you will visit the White Horse Temple. (L/D)
Day 9 - Luoyang Today you will visit the Shaolin Temple and the Pagoda Forest. There will also be the opportunity to view a Kung Fu show. In the afternoon you will travel back to Luoyang and visit the Longmen grottoes, one of the three largest in China. (B/L/D)
Day 10 - Luoyang / Xi'an After breakfast you will depart Luoyang for Xi'an by train. (B)
